Practising smarthpone cinematography

Smartphone cameras have come a long way. The smartphone is the modern day Swiss army knife. It does so much and replaces the need for many devices. Not that I am saying that the smartphone replaces the need for Professional cameras, but it does make the small pocket camera almost obsolete.

For my videos I use an iPhone 7+ and a Manfrotto Pixi tripod with universal smartphone mount. The first video is a slow motion video of my dad taking off with his paraglider near Picton. The second video is a time lapse of us doing maintenance at the water intake for the hydro turbine. Enjoy!
